Planning Storyboard for my CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser commercial

Image
First Scene - The product will be shown from a low angle, maybe blurring out the background, traveling up to the label. Then the voiceover will roll in and the text will say "Hydrate your skin." Second Scene - The second scene will most likely be a mid-shot, showing the subject's upper body. She will be looking directly at the camera and say " Your face is delicate and so should your cleanser be!" She will appear happy and will be wearing a towel or head wrap on her head with a white shirt. Third Scene - This scene will be a close-up shot of the subject washing her face with the product.   Props: The props will include the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, silicon facial cleanser/massager, a mirror, laptop, and water. Schedule:  - October 20, 2020, I gathered research about the conventions of skincare commercials by watching advertisements of various skincare brands and made note of the reoccurring themes.  - October 22, 2020, I planned out what I should wear in my commercial and the necessary props that should be in it.  - October 23, 2020, I will speculate on how I want my commercial to look like. Starting on the storyboard should help this process. - October 26, 2020, I will finish the storyboard and put together the whole script of my commercial. - October 27, 2020, I will start and finish recording my commercial. - October 28-29, 2020 I will edit my video...

Usually, in skincare commercials, they target how the product benefits the consumer by using statistics and 3d animations of the product on the skin for a visually stimulating experience for the consumer. Some might notice the trend of water being used in skincare commercials, whether it's being splashed on one's face or the editing has water overlayed in the video. Water is universally seen as being refreshing and clean which alludes to the product feeling the same way on the skin. Moreover, closeups and soft natural lighting are ideal in skincare commercials. Closeups call for a very detailed shot, it's used to show how flawless the skin is after using the product. The soft natural lighting makes the subject appear beautiful and youthful, the frame is clearer and inviting because there's little to no shadows present in this shot. The subje...
