Production Blog: Back to Filiming
Over the 3 day weekend, I used all the time I had to my advantage. I'm really proud of myself and what I got accomplished. Filiming was surprisingly easier than anticipated. Although it took longer than I expected; everything was organized and planned to perfection. I had the best lighting, no interruptions, and my cousin seemed to know what she was doing. So we also had an amazing time together filming. I honestly believe it made us closer, which is a plus. Watching the scenes we recorded together gave us the opportunity to reshoot and modify things that needed to be changed. For example, how the pillow was positioned or my facial expression. She contributed to a lot and I really think without her help this wouldn't be possible.
Moreover, like mentioned beforehand, the scene that we recorded took a long time to shoot. We spent 2 whole days on it and lucky for me she decided to spend the night. So time was not a factor while we were filming because we had all the time in the world. It felt great not having to rush and feel like a burden to others and yourself while filiming. It was a great experience and this is one of the many reasons why filiming during the weekend is the best choice. To add on, I know that I mentioned how time was not a factor in filiming that day but we did run into one little problem. Originally, we started filming in mid evening. Naturally, that's very close to when the sun will go down and then a couple hours later that's exactly what happened. Therefore we had to stop but it's okay because we needed the break. The next day we filmed another scene and halfway through it she had to leave unfourtuanelty but I got enough of the clip to start editing. I didn't start yet but I will when I get some free time this week.
